With PopUpCop enabled, I can seem to access my Hotmail email account. How can I access Hotmail?
Recently Microsoft has started using script timers to redirect users around the various sites associated with Hotmail, and you have probably have script timers turned off. To work around this problem, you could turn script timers back on, or follow these step-by-step instructions to keep script timers off but still use Hotmail: • Click on the PopUpCop badge to pull down the main PopUpCop menu. • Choose “Customize PopUpCop…” to display the PopUpCop options dialog. • Click on the “Allow and block lists” tab. • On the left side of the dialog, under the “Always display popups from” (Allow) list, click “New…”. • In the “Enter new page, server or domain” dialog enter the following pattern: *.passport.com • Click OK to add the pattern to your allow list. • Repeat steps 4,5, and 6 for the following two patterns: *.passport.net *.hotmail.com • Click on the “Look and feel” tab. • Find and place a checkmark in the box next to “Allow list applies to Flash and other active blocks”. • Click Appl
