Some earlier varieties have lanky flowering stalks. These can be trimmed off with impunity and foliage will quickly follow. Do not fertilize while these plants are in bloom as it will shorten the bloom time. Keep the “puls” evenly moist. IMPORTANT Pulmonaria like a cool root-run. Magnesium or Sulfur deficiency improved by the addition of Magnesium Sulfate. PH imbalancesoil is locking up available Iron. Sulfur is usually the culprit.
