How do we get to Casa del Soñador?
Casa del Soñador is in the hills above the village of Dominical, which is about 100 miles south of San Jose. Many folks choose to take advantage of this opportunity to see some of the incredibly beautiful countryside and rent a car at the airport. From there, you may choose to drive south on the Pan American Highway through the mountains of central Costa Rica or west and then south down the Pacific Coast. In either case, plan on a 3-4 hour drive at Costa Rica slow speed limits. Or, from San Jose (Juan Santamaria International Airport), you may choose to catch a commuter flight to Quepos (25 miles to the north) or Palmar Sur (25 miles to the south). Commuter flight schedules are very limited and you should verify baggage restrictions. Car rentals are available for the shorter drive to Dominical. A third option is to catch a shuttle van at the airport in San Jose and leave the driving to someone else. This will cost about $50 per person. The van will drop you off in the center of Dominic
