What Is A Viper RT/10 Roadster?
The Viper is Chrysler’s Corporation’s answer to the high powered exotic car. The Viper is the fastest street legal car ever built in the United States. The original Viper (The R/T 10) is a two passenger roadster equipped with a 488 cubic inch (8.0 Liter) V-10. A Red Viper was the star of the show, (for Seasons 1-2: 1994-1998) hence the name. The 1992-1995 Viper Roadsters featured a 400 horsepower V-10. In 1996, New color schemes and wheels were available with an upgraded 415 horsepower engine. In 2001, a next generation Viper Roadster replaced the first generation roadster used in the show.
