Live DVB playback only works with the xine engine. Go to Menu->Settings->Engine and choose “Kaffeine-Xine”. Then restart Kaffeine. If there isn’t any “Kaffeine-Xine” entry, you have to install it: it should be labelled “kaffeine-xine” or similar.
