A. A BBS door is a software program that is specially written to be “added on” to a Bulletin Board System similairly to the way a webmaster would add additional functionality to a web site. Guests can then log onto the bulletin board with their modem or via the internet, and enter the door seamlessly. Most doors, including the John Dailey Software doors, however, can be ran completely without a BBS for personal enjoyment.
