How did the NDP come about?
An extensive consultation process took place involving written submissions and meetings with Government officials and ministers. Written submissions were sent from the Social Partners (Employers, Trade Unions, Voluntary/Community Sector and Agricultural Sector), Government Departments, the Regional Authorities, the Western Development Commission and the European Commission to the Department of Finance.
