Are officers allowed to wear their uniforms and weapons in official Memorial ceremonies?
The uniform of the day for any of the official ceremonies is the Class A uniform. Regarding your weapon, DC statutes stipulate that if an officer has authorization from his/her department to be in the area in uniform and/or is representing their department at an event, they can then have their side arms with them.
