What kind of iron is in intraMAX™?
Ferrous gluconate organically bound to living carbon at 177 mg per serving which is 28% of your Daily Value based on a 2,000 calorie diet. We are not concerned about this kind of iron as it is wrapped in organic carbon and will either be used by the body or expelled if it’s not required. It is unlike most other iron products as it is broken down into a super small size (called a nanometer) which enables it to show up at the cell wall and be instantly absorbable or passed on out depending upon what the cell needs. Over 15 years of this product’s distribution, we have yet to hear of any iron sensitivity reaction.
