Is the Meg capable of mixed gases?
Yes! The Meg is a mixed gas laboratory on your back and for it to have been dived as deep as it has it must be capable of using noble gases that are used for those depths. Typically the unit is used for film, wreck, and recreational diving to 40 meters (132 few) using common SCUBA air as a diluent and then generally depths and durations past 30 meters (100 fsw) and times over 90 minutes a helium based mix is used for minimal narcosis and maximum deco benefits. The Meg has been used for up to 8 hours on a single dive and pending longer exposures for deeper dives.
