What does PAC cover?
PAC covers prescription drugs, primary care physician office visits, mental health care, and some limited additional health services. Once an individual is determined eligible for PAC they have pharmacy benefits and mental health benefits. Primary care benefits do not start until the PAC member is enrolled in a managed care organization (MCO). PAC does not cover services such as in-patient hospital stays, outpatient hospital care, emergency room visits or visits to a specialist.
