If you go onto the Dimensions tab for the mattresses you linked, you can get the product names for each of them. The name for the Sealy you are looking at is the Sealy Backsaver Sapphire Lace. The Simmons product is called the Simmons Grays Peak. Now that you have the names for both of them, you can search around and get the product specs and more objectively compare them. The Sealy bed has a 418 Bonnell coil unit vs a 412 in the Simmons, so it is pretty much a wash there. The Sealy bed is unicased, which means that there is about 1/2″ of rigid polyethylene foam around the outside which helps to allow you to have a larger sleeping surface (you don’t sink when you get to the edges) and gives the springs a little bit of a longer life. The Simmons does not mention the edge support, so it more than likely uses edge clips with a thicker gauge coil along the outside.
