Looks like we should with 83% saying yes, good pre-season preparation and a Uefa Cup place to the winners. 17% said no, give the players a rest. I remember Paul ‘magic’ Merson saying he enjoyed the Inter-two-bob and thought it gave the team a competitive edge at the start of a season as they are already match fit and competition primed! With the summer spending we should also have a squad large enough to cope with the possible fatigue that sets in mid-way through the season!
