What Speakers are best for a DJ?

I’ve been simply looking to find out what is the best speaker/amp to buy for a mobile DJ setup. If I want to do a wedding that may be in a big grand ballroom, how many amps will I need, what are specs that when I see I should avoid, and what to watch out for when buying an amp to go with it. For some reason, it’s like some sort of major mystery question.
