WHAT IS A HCG LEVEL TEST?
hcg level test is a blood test that checks for the amount of hcg in the blood to detect pregnancy. Anything above a 5 is pregnant. Depending on how high the numbers are determines how far along you are. HCG is not 100% accurate. Some women like myself don’t produce enough hcg in their urine stream, so the more reliable way is a blood test. Its more sensitive and can show where the levels are at that time. They should double every 48-72 hours.
