Cats definitely remember things, especially people! Also, cats dont experience time like we do, they arent thinking “she’s been gone 9 months, what the hell”. To her it was more like “where is she” and then “oh there she is”. they know its been a while but cats dont have time concept like us. Anyway, a few years ago I took 5 cats into my house, and me and my boyfriend took care of them, together, although we didnt live together, but the cats still knew him. One cat in particular, “Runt” was sick as a baby and we took him to the vet and cared for him extra because he needed it. They were outdoor cats until I took them, then indoor outdoor. From Sept to Dec, we took care of them, then in January my bf went away to school. He came home in April, and came to visit me, and said that he was worried the cats wouldnt remember him.
