The Qube3 requires it’s old version of PERL, but you can load a newer version by playing a little switch-aro game: 1. Rename the orginal perl binary to perl-qube 2. Download and compile the new version 3. Rename the new perl binary to perl58 or whatever 4. Rename the original binary back to perl Then call the new PERL for whatever application you need it for.
