what is a pigment ink print?
Pigment ink prints are commonly referred to as giclée prints. Giclée prints as well as pigment ink prints are produced with professional grade inkjet printers using archival pigments on fine art papers. Why then do we call them pigment ink prints? Mainly as a matter of attempting to avoid argument. Some argue that prints on canvas or alternative papers are not technically giclée prints. As we intend to produce our cards on a number of alternative papers and substrates we felt that the term pigment ink print was a more accurate and acceptable description for the prints we are producing.
