Hello Erskine, The men may really look at you strange when I finish answering your question. My wife of 46 years should answer your question. She can beat any man and most women in the garden. But she hates computers. So you are stuck with me (smile). I have been gardening for sixty (60) years. I have nine (9) fruit trees. I try to grow fruits you cannot buy in the stores. We have a Loquat, a Strawberry Guava, a Mission fig, a Satsuma Mandarin Orange, a Rudy Red Grapefruit, a Improved Lemon, Hell Haven Peach, a Gold Dust Peach, and a Robertson Orange, a Combination Satsuma, Santa Rosa, and Shiro Plum, and a Santa Rosa Plum. We also have a 20×20 feet vegatable garden. This year we canned over 23 quart jars of red and yellow tomatoes and many other vegatables. I have to, and I totally research every tree I plant. As a kid, I loved plums. My first tree was the Santa Rosa. I would take a bag of plums to work. I would type up a note on the bag with big letters “WARNING!! Use a napkin”. It w
