What does a Latter-day Saint do?
Latter-day Saints have jobs and families just like their neighbors. They also have callings in their wards. Callings are sort of like part-time jobs, but they are volunteer positions. Wards are congregations. All the positions in the ward are filled by volunteers, but you don’t usually get to pick which job you do. Everyone serves for a limited time, one to five years on average, but it could be much more or much less. The most important job in the ward is the job of bishop. It is also the most stressful and time-consuming. The most plentiful jog is probably the job of teacher. There are lots of different Sunday school classes: one or two for each age group.
