How do clinicals work?
Students are asked to find preceptors in their local area. Once students identify a preceptor, the department will draft an affiliation agreement with the clinical site. Once both parties have signed the contract, students can begin their clinicals. At some during their rotations, a faculty member will conduct a site visit to evaluate students’ progress. Students are encouraged to submit preceptor information as early as possible because the contract process can take up to three months.
