What is Half-Life 2: Aftermath?
Half-Life 2: Aftermath is the upcoming Half-Life 2 expansion pack, just recently announced by VALVe Software themselves, to be released via Steam only (apparently, it won’t ship in retail), which will obviously be pre-loadable the day it’s released. Anyway, it takes place after the events of Half-Life 2, and after the ruin of the Citadel, as you’ll play and fight along side the character known as Alynx Vance, assuming the role of another character (presumably not Gordon Freeman), breaking from the regular Half-Life tradition, so there will be a lot more character development with Alyx Vance.
