Well David Cook had music made before he ever went to American Idol, and his stuff before AI was just brilliant! I absolutely loved it. His stuff out today is too pop-y for me…but then again, he is contracted with American Idol, so of course he’s kind of a sell-out right now. I’m sure if he could do music HIS way, like he used to, people would love him a lot more and he wouldn’t be so generic.
