How to preserve a Sand Dollar?
1. First put the sand dollars in fresh water as soon as possible (change water when it turns to a dark color).Continue until the water remains clear. 2.Then put them In a bleach and water solution for only an hour or the Sand Dollars will dissove.If the the bleach doesn’t whiten the Sand Dollars all the way in the 1 hour put them out in the sun until they are fully whitened. 3.To preserve the Sand Dollars make a mixture of white glue(elmers) and water.Then using a sponge brush coat the Sand Dollar and lay out to dry.
