How does a blizzard form?
A blizzard forms when very cold, dry air clashes with very warm, moist air. The wrarm air is lifted over the cold air, and develops a front. Both air masses have to have extreme cold, and extreme moisture. As the air mixes, it causes precipitation in the form of heavy snow, otherwise known as a blizzard.
