Several university libraries are no longer listed on the Virtual Catalog. Did the Boston Library Consortium leaving the Virtual Catalog?

A number of members of the Boston Library Consortium have left the statewide Virtual Catalog: Boston University, Brown University, MBL/WHOI, Northeastern University, Wellesley College, and Williams College. You may now see the Boston Library Consortium Virtual catalog at: blc.ursa.dynixasp.com/vcursa/patron_login.sh You will still be able to find materials (and request them if you log in with your library card) from most public libraries in the Commonwealth through the virtual catalog. The University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth and Lowell will also continue to participate in the statewide Virtual Catalog. If you find a title in the Boston Library Consortium version of the catalog, please ask your home library to try and obtain it for you through interlibrary loan. It is very likely that they will be able to do so. The annoucement of the Consortium’s departure can be found at: www.blc.org/news/vc_letter.
