For V5 Toys: Your 10-digit LOGOUT password is used to update your Tamagotchi® toy with the Gotchi points and Gotchi-prizes that you earned while online. If you are not able to enter the LOGOUT number in your toy after your visit online, then your toy will be not be updated with this information. You will need to get a new LOGIN number and visit the website again to earn more prizes and points again. For V4 & V4.5 Toys: Your 14-digit LOGOUT password is used to update your Tamagotchi® toy with the Gotchi points and Gotchi-prizes that you earned while online. If you are not able to enter the LOGOUT number in your toy after your visit online, then your toy will be not be updated with this information. You will need to get a new LOGIN number and visit the website again to earn more prizes and points again. To prevent this from happening again, make sure to not press any buttons on your toy during your visit to Tamagotchi® Town or Tama & Earth Expo and enter your LOGOUT number as soon as it

heey i’m facing the same problem like you, just push the reset button (on the back side of ur tamagotchi) and choose "download" 🙂 then u’ll be able to get out from those stuck situation without reset ur tama 🙂
