Yes, it’s true. Steve Burns has already finished filming his last episode of Blue’s Clues. However, Steve was still featured on “new” episodes up through the year 2002. The new “human” on the show will be named “Joe,” and will be introduced as the brother of the character “Steve” (he’s not Steve Burns’ biological brother). “Joe” will be played by the actor Donovan Patton and will be worked into the storyline before Steve’s character leaves the show. Steve Burns (the actor) has expressed concern over the wording of some of the press reports about his leaving the show; specifically, he wants people to know that statements like “The 27-year-old actor said he would have “hated with all his heart” the character if he was a child today” take his words out of context.
