When will the Honda Fit Hybrid come out?
The Honda Fit Hybrid is slated for 2009. “The new conventional Fit subcompact is priced starting between $13,000 and $14,000” according to hybridcars.com, but autoblog.com says “it will likely cost between $15,000 and $17,000, substantially less than the Prius and even Honda’s own Civic Hybrid.” The Auto Blog also says that the Honda Fit Hybrid will use the same engine (or similar engine) as the retired Honda Insight, which was considered one of the most fuel efficient vehicles in existence. I think if you can wait until 2009, go for it! www.hybridcars.
