How to remove a tick from a human?
It is generally suggested that the tick is pulled straight out from the body using a pair of tweezers. The goal is to remove the mouth parts of the tick, so that infection can be avoided. However, if the mouth parts do not come out with the tick removal for a small child, it might be best to let nature take its course rather than attempt to hold the child down to remove them like a splinter.
