To reset or restore your iPod, first download the latest version of iTunes on your computer. Connect your iPod to your computer with the USB cable. Select the iPod from the Source panel. You will have the option to Restore. Choose to restore with the same version of the software, or the latest version. Do not unplug the iPod until the process is completed!
