What is the RNG?
RNG stands for Random Number Generator, and it is the games tool to decide if you gain stats during a level up, if your attacks hit or miss, and if your abilities activate. The mechanics of the RNG arent for newbies (heck, I wonder if I even know), but it can be defined as rolling a 100-sided dice, with numbers over 50 representing halves and suchnever mind, why would a newbie ask this anyway? The RNG can decide to make you miss on a 112% hit chance (this happens, believe it or not), and to make a character with 100% HP growth end up with less than 16 HP by the time that character is 20/20. BookWormGamer has pointed out that some laguz have over 100% HP growth, contrary to what I believed to be true previously (that no unit had over 100% growth in anything).
