Are bull snakes easy to keep?
I have a bull snake and he is an angel. He had never hissed or striked at me BUT i have seen many bull snakes being very aggresive. If you are going to get one please get a CB NOT a WC – Wild caught are more likely to have disease and be aggresive and have trouble feeding. The grow around 5-6foot. The eat a mice/rat every week-2 weeks (depending on their size). They love having hides in their tank. Normal colouring is brownish. But the albinos are amazing they are yellow with orange all over they’re backs. They need a large water bowl. And about 3 ft tank – don’t get a to big tank as they feel scared of it. They are a great snake but can be aggresive so I would say some experience is needed with other snakes first. If you have any questions i’ll be happy to help: georginastewart@tiscali.co.
