Larvae (wigglers) are to inch long, or smaller. They move by vigorously wiggling or flexing their bodies. They look like tiny aquatic worms. When are mosquito larvae most likely to be present? What can be done to avoid mosquito bites? • Be aware of the times of day when mosquitoes are most likely to be biting. The prime biting periods are often at dusk and dawn.
