How to make candle?
The process of making a candle will vary depending on if you want a free standing molded candle or a taper. After carefully melting your wax or paraffin in a double boiler, a taper is made by dipping a length of wick repeatedly in the wax and allowing to set between dips. A molded candle is made by carefully pouring the melted wax into the the mold, suspending the wick in the wax by using an anchor at the bottom and securing it at the top by tying it to the center of a rod lying across the top of the mold, then letting it set to cool.
