The BioCAT microprobe is a unique instrument dedicated to microfluorescence and microspectroscopy biological applications. The microprobe program is open to both BioCATcollaborators and APS general users. Some microdiffraction experiments are also performed using a variation of this setup but this capability is not yet available for general users. The main goal of the microprobe program is to provide the experimenters with a very high efficiency tool for microfluorescence mapping and microspectroscopy.
