What are fragrance or perfume oils?
When you see the words “fragrance oils”, “parfum”, or “perfume oils” in the listing of ingredients of most scented products, know they are referencing synthetics in a pleasant way. Unfortunately, the fragrance and perfume industry has created much confusion in the world of true aromatherapy. Disappointing to learn that fragrances in most commercially available products are artificial, but concealing product listings with ambiguous terms is not part of our value system. We desire to serve you as a platform for education. Synthetics are used to mimic scents in nature that are unattainable via natural means.
