Jedidiah is a Hebrew word and was a common name given in ancient Israel. The word translates as “beloved by Jehovah” or “friend of God” Jedidiah is also the original birth name of King Solomon, who is considered to be one of the wisest men who ever lived. He led a life of amazing privilege filled with everything a man could ever want.
