Can marijuana cause strep throat?
Well, no, it cannot cause it. It is only caused by an infection. Sharing a joint, pipe, bong, blunt, etc. with someone with strep could give you strep, but the weed itself isn’t the culprit. Now, it can irritate the heck out of your throat if you’re smoking with strep. Coming from someone who’s smoked too much with a sore throat, it’s not fun. But I guess I’d rather be high with strep than not be. BUT I DIGRESS! Short answer: nope. Weed won’t give ya strep.
