the “bully” whippet is actually a purebred with a double dose of the genetic mutation that causes double muscling. The misnomer comes form a superficial resemblance to a pit bull. There has been a genetic screening test for this for about a year and a half and because the extra muscling can, and sometimes does, create significant quality of life problems, breeders use the test religiously – to the best of my fairly extensive knowledge no bully whippet has been born in North America since the test had been around. and no one is going to delibratly produce the misery we have seen just for you….
