A TSOP Flash is the term given to the simplest and cheapest way of modifying the Xbox. It involves joining two sets of points inside the Xbox and running some special software to rewrite information on one of the memory chips. The advantage of this method is that it is cheap, simple, and no additional hardware is added to the Xbox. The disadvantage is that it cannot be turned off and so you cannot use Xbox Live.
