Why do people hate David Archuleta?
We don’t hate him, we’re annoyed by the little 10-year olds who keep pressing ‘redial’ about a million times because they think he’s the cutest thing they’ve ever seen. He IS a great singer, but not the best performer. He is off-pitch a lot, but thanks to his “good looks” & nice personality, he’ll probably take the whole season. THAT is what we hate: that teenie-boppers will decide the winner when they don’t even know what talent is. TALENT is David Cook, or Michael Johns. If David Archuleta didn’t have that face, he wouldn’t have so many fans, think about it. Really really think about it. Isn’t it unfair? Michael was a better singer than David Archuleta, yet he was eliminated. David Archuleta is inconsistent: he has good days & terrible days, nothing in between. He sounds the same every week. He can only sing ballads. He sounds great singing them but there’s not point if that’s all he can do. Little girls need to vote with their EARS, not their eyes. We wouldn’t be bashing on him so m
