How is Murder for Fun different?
There are lots of these kinds of products on the market. And they do vary widely in quality. Our goal with Murder for Fun is to make games so good and so fun that you remember playing them for years. That is a tall order! However, we think we have accomplished it, and from the feedback we get, others evidently agree. Aside from that, though, there are three things that are substantially different about Murder for Fun games: First, unlike most other similar games, these are real mysteries. A lot of products out there have “cutesy” endings – everybody is the murderer, the dog did it, etc. A Murder for Fun game is packed with humor and fun as well, but at the core is a real mystery that is tricky and challenging. Something like a Murder She Wrote, Agatha Christie, or Ellery Queen. Second, players are given complete mobility of their character. In other words, they can lie.
