Who makes optical soundtracks?
Up until recently nobody west of Toronto or North of Los Angeles made 16mm optical soundtracks. Recently we have heard that someone is doing 16mm optical soundtracks in Seattle. However, we have no other information on that at this time. We have been sending our optical prints to Toronto as shipping across borders can sometimes be problematic and some labs in L.A. use a “35/32B wind” system to make 16mm optical prints that is not supported by any lab in Canada.
