How are students advised at NJIT?
BME students are initially advised by the department’s new student advisor. Once they have chosen a track, they will have a track advisor who is a member of the faculty with expertise in that area. Students are required to meet with their advisor once each semester to monitor progress and select courses for the next semester. Of course, a student may schedule additional meetings as needs arises.
