Can turn tv to channel 4?
It sounds like your Sony has dropped channel 4 from the list of available channels. My tv does that every fall when my wife has tried to block the sports channels 😉 Here is the Sony procedure to add back channels: Turn on the TV Set the Cable on/off selector to ON Select the channel to be added by pressing the channel number buttons and the Enter button on the Sony remote control. UPDATE: Since you don’t have the Sony Remote, use the Cox remote in TV mode. Press the TV mode button at the top before pressing the channel numbers. This makes the remote send commands to the TV instead of to the cable box or DVR. The Cox instructions link is for my state. The remotes in your area may be different but should still have a ‘mode’ button. Press the ‘ADD’ button on the front of the television (just left of the volume buttons).
