What were the main causes of WW2?

0

The root causes of the Second world war were the unfinished business of the first world war. Europe was ravished and their economy a failure. Inflation left the money in Germany worthless. Hitler came to power after the failure of the Weimar republic to stabilize the economy and feed the people. Hitler used a build up of war industry to rebiuld the businesses of Germany and brought employment to many of the unemployed. He bought their allegiance in this way and and paved the road to his dictatorship. In the far east, Japan was needing raw materials for their dev eloping industrial might and decided to get it by invasion. They attacked China and Manchuria. The US honored their treaty with China and stopped shipments of oil and scrap steel to Japan. This made the Japanese either to stop their industry or find what they needed by war. They chose war, even though some of the Japanese leaders knew they could not win. This is an over simplified version but gives the keys.
