When will Xanadu open?
The shopping and entertainment complex of Xanadu is now all set to open, but the only question that remains is ‘When?’. Though most of its space has been leased out (accounting to 70%), officials are still concerned about the lease of the remaining space. Thus while there is one section of officials who feel that the complex can be opened up to public around the stipulated period of August, the more conservative thinkers feel that it is best to wait till the rest of the space is also leased out. Those who wish that the center opens up in August state that given the nation’s financial crisis, it is important to get into business as soon as possible. However those against the decision state that for a complex like Xanadu, the launch should be a grand affair and can be done only once.
