What NFL Quarterbacks are best for throwing a Roll-out pass?
As much as I dislike him, McNabb is one of the best. He has a lot of practice, having thrown on the run as a four year starter in college, whereas most NFL quarterbacks played in the pocket in college. Another good one is Jay Cutler. He is more of a deep passer on the rollout who quickly sets up after he moves. Tony Romo has well-designed roll outs that appear to be ad-libbed, but are actually coreographed by his staff. A poor man’s McNabb is Luke McCown. He is not as accurate, but his throws on the move are just as accurate as his throws in the pocket, which is why he continues to get looks in the NFL.
