Who is the best Red Sox player?
Last night Manny is definitely the best against the Yanks by far.Overall I would say Ortiz ,lately he has slow starts ,but always comes through at the end of the season when they need him.Last year it wasn’t Home runs for him ,but a shitload of key doubles and singles.He hustles to base even with a bad Knee,Manny is right up there with him,but the fact that Manny doesn’t hustle to get on base hurts the Sox sometimes.(just my opinion,and believe me I do love watching Manny crack Home runs,he really can crush em.
being a lifelong sox fan i’d really have to ask myself who means more to the team hitting the ball it’s manny ramirez but his defense sometimes blows pitching at this moment i’d say beckett but in all for real for real no person means more than varitek he commands the pitching staff better than any backstop in the bigs
